and best practices in Board development and management;
and the challenges of executive leadership in a nonprofit

Students will gain an understanding of how nonprofits
shape public policy through strategies such as community

and litigation; the role of Board members, staff, and
volunteers as agents of and for social change; and examine
case studies of effective and ineffective nonprofit social
change initiative. |
